Grooming class information. Class $40.00 - Jan 7th 2011 6:30pm-8:30pm - Registration required. Suggested items to bring - Sharp nail clippers, blunt tipped hair scissors, dogs are welcome, but not required.
Laurie is one of those people who absolutely loves what she does. As one of the top students of her class, she graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming in what was to be the largest class in the history of the school. She did this while working part time for another groomer and raising her family. After graduation, she continued working for the other groomer for awhile before opening her own shop, Laurie's Loving Touch in 2007. At the shop, she specializes in breed-specific grooming and individualized attention for each pet. As many of you know, Laurie also clips nails every Wednesday from 5pm - 7pm, and has been for the past 3 years. She is constantly working towards furthering her education, and is currently working on getting a Master Groomer certification in cats.
Pearlie is an animal lover and has owned a wide range of different types of pets; fish, birds, small animals, cats, and dogs. She attended the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming and after graduating, she worked at a Veterinary clinic with multiple locations. She also apprenticed under a Master Groomer before opening her own shop. With her learning, she specializes in breed-specific styling with an emphasis on skin and coat health.
