Want to have a better relationship with your dog? Owners will learn how to communicate with their dog to get the most benefits out of training. They will learn basic dog behavior and techniques to make training easier and more efficient. This class is designed for adolescent and adult dogs, and the focus is a natural approach to guiding your dog's behavior through the use of pack theory, body language and training equipment. Owners will learn how to teach or reinforce the basic commands such as sit, come, down and stay. They will also have the opportunity to address specific problems they are experiencing with their dog. Dogs must have the ability to work with other dogs in close proximity without exhibiting aggressive behavior. First day of class is orientation for owners only. This class is suitable for dogs between 6 months and 10 years of age.
This is a collaborative program with New Berlin Park and Rec.
